Mercedes-Benz EQS 4-Matic review. Finally, after a long wait the first 100% electric Mercedes arrives on Canadian soil. My first impression behind the wheel was that I felt no sacrifice driving this large sedan versus the gasoline version. Drives like a real S-Class. With its 4Matic all-wheel drive, 518 hp and a 0-100km in 4.3 seconds, it's quite a beast. Inside, the first thing that strikes us is the 56-inch screen, ultra-comfortable seats and there's even space under the console for a briefcase or a purse. The air suspension absorbs our beautiful roads very well at home and the 4-wheel steering allows you an impressive steering angle for a very tight turning radius. The expected range according to the North American EPA is 547 km. Other electric vehicles are planned for 2022, including an EQB SUV, an EQ sedan and other versions of the EQS will be available this year. As far as charging stations are concerned The company FLOW has the Canadian mandate to manufacture high-end wall charging stations for your home designed and are manufactured here in Quebec.
